This year marks the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Immigration and Nationality Act which opened the doors to the second wave of Asian immigration that brought many of our parents to the United States. Join this conversation with Professors Janelle Wong, Director of the Asian American Studies Program, and Deepa Iyer, AAST's Activist-in-Residence, to learn about how the 1965 law changed policy and perceptions, and to discuss what it means to our communities today.
